Mark Almario is a senior administrative analyst at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. He is a member of the Center’s finance and administration team where he provides support on managing financial and administrative activity for the Health Economics and Evaluation Research (HEER) program, California Simulation of Insurance Markets (CalSIM), Chronic Disease program, and Health Equity program.

He has worked for several departments at UCLA, including the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, UCLA Physics & Astronomy, UCLA School of Education & Information Studies, UCLA Neurology, and Department of Psychology.

He joins the Center with 11 years of experience in managing contracts, grants, clinical trial awards, gift funds, and sales and service accounts, as well as two years of experience in purchasing. He has a background in proposal submissions via Cayuse, NSF Fastlane, NSPIRES, grants.gov, Assist, and SmartSimple.
