YuChing Yang, PhD, is the director of the Statistical Unit at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. She manages the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) data file development and production. She also provides support in data management and data analysis for Center research projects. 

Yang previously worked as a research biostatistician for the Women's Heart Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she provided data management and statistical service for various types of research studies. Yang also previously served as a statistician with CHIS. 

Yang received her PhD in epidemiology from UCLA, and both her master of science in epidemiology and her bachelor of science in public health from National Taiwan University in Taiwan.
