The Center plans, develops, and manages a variety of information technology services and products.
Computer Systems and Support. The Center's Information Technology Department maintains a state-of-the-art facility that provides its 70 users with a virus-free, stable and productive working environment. Center staff members and faculty associates and their respective research projects enjoy the benefits of on-site hardware and software support, as well as network printing, copying, scanning, faxing and calendar scheduling.
Web Development. The Center's web development capabilities range from building effective architecture for disseminating information to innovative applications requiring integration of more than one technology.
Data Query Systems. The team's AskCHIS online data query system provides easy access to a wealth of data from the California Health Interview Survey. Users can tailor their queries about health conditions, behaviors, and insurance using a wide variety of demographic criteria. AskCHIS has proven to be a popular and invaluable resource to health policy stakeholders who use this free system to quickly gather information on hundreds of health topics.
