The Health DATA Program is a major public service program of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. The goal of the program is to build the capacity of advocates, organizations, and coalitions to use health research data to address public health policy issues important to the communities they serve.
Health DATA programs are made possible through the generous support of these organizations: The California Endowment, The California Wellness Foundation, Community Technology Foundation of California, Kaiser Permanente, and UCLA in LA.
Health DATA program will conduct a free, hands-on AskCHIS workshop for
staff and volunteers of Orange County community-based organizations.
Participants will learn how to access public health data online from
the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS). The workshop will take
place from 8:30am to 4:00pm on the Cal State Fullerton campus, free
parking is provided. Meals are not provided however, dining options
are available on campus.
Registration deadline
is May 21 -- please register online.
Please note: a maximum of two participants per organization will be
accepted. For additional information, email Health DATA or call 310-794-0950.
