This fact sheet looks at the likely implications of national health care reform efforts on health insurance coverage in California. Specifically, it examines how health insurance coverage might expand to include up to four million of California's 6.4 non-elderly adults and children who were uninsured all or part of the year in 2007.

The fact sheet is based upon data from the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) and was supported by The California Endowment.
