Menbere Haile, PhD, MS, is a senior statistician at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research (CHPR). She provides technical assistance in statistical analysis, modelling and programming at the center. She also works with the CalSIM project team in collaboration with UC Berkeley Labor Center.

Before joining UCLA CHPR, Haile worked as a research assistant at the Center for Neuroeconomics Studies at Claremont Graduate University and as a lecturer of economics at different universities.

Haile has a doctoral degree in economics from Claremont Graduate University with emphasis in health and behavioral economics and a Master of Science in Economics from Addis Ababa University.
