Where does CHIS interview?

CHIS telephone surveys are conducted in all 58 counties of California. CHIS may conduct oversampling of specific urban areas, such as Los Angeles and San Diego.

View a complete list of downloadable tables that show the number of people CHIS has interviewed for each county as well as their race/ethnicity during recent data collection cycles here.

Would you like an oversample of your city or geographic area? Contact our CHIS team at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research to learn more about expanded survey options.
