An increasing number of low-income, working-age Californians say they're struggling to access nutritious and affordable food, according to a study released Wednesday by the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research.
Health policy researchers note that Medicare Advantage tends to be lucrative for insurers but can be a mixed bag for patients, who often have a limited choice of providers — and that targeted plans would not necessarily solve that problem.
