Exploring the Relationship Between Identity and Health Care Access and Utilization among Sexual and Gender Minority Immigrants

PROJECT DATE: to

The purpose of my proposed dissertation research is to expand the knowledge base on the intersectional experience of sexual and gender minority immigrants and access to health care in the United States. I anticipate finding a negative association between SGM immigrant status and health care access prevalence due to the racialization of immigration, impacted social networks, and distance to SGM-friendly health care.
