Mohamed Mostafa is the Center’s Director of Information Technology. He leads the Center’s IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, and web technology functions, and oversees the systems and services that support staff, research, and daily operations.
Mostafa has led major improvements across the Center’s technology environment, including infrastructure modernization, secure remote access, identity and access management, endpoint and network security, disaster recovery planning, and operational process improvement. His work focuses on building secure, reliable, and sustainable technology services that support the Center’s mission and the needs of its staff and partners.
Mostafa holds a BS in Computer Engineering from California State University, Northridge. He is CISSP certified and also holds ITIL 4 Foundation, CompTIA Security+, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2024 Generative AI Professional, and Microsoft certifications in enterprise and server administration.
