This project will analyze the health conditions, behaviors, and wellness of American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) Californians using data from the 2024 AIAN Follow-On Study and the 2013-2024 California Health Interview Survey (CHIS). The project will describe the prevalence and distribution of key health indicators among AIAN Californians and compare across sociodemographic characteristics and regions. Findings will be used to inform public policies targeted at addressing health inequities faced by AIAN populations in California.
