In this study I will assess if immigrant women of reproductive age (18-49 years) face inequities in reproductive health. The study has three aims: Aim 1: Examine if there is a relationship between immigrant legal status and type of contraceptive method use; Aim 2: Assess if there are significant differences in the associations between type of contraceptive method use and legal status, by race and ethnicity; Aim 3: Examine how family- and community-level factors (e.g., marital status, household size, and neighborhood/social cohesion) moderate the effects of legal status and race/ethnicity on contraceptive method use.
