Paper 1 examines the role of language concordance between the parent and the child’s health care provider, including the use of professional interpreters and availability of Spanish-speaking providers, on the health care utilization of Latino children.

Paper 2 examines parental-reported health care experiences of Latino children and adolescents according to household language and parental citizenship/documentation statutes.
