The online Contra Costa Health Atlas gives interactive data on more than 100 health indicators and socioeconomic factors that affect them. Users can map some indicators to the ZIP-code level and stratify data demographically. A wide variety of data topics can be searched, including overdose deaths and other mortality causes, life expectancy, disease prevalence, opioid-related hospitalizations, healthcare access, socioeconomic indicators and more.  The data can be displayed in charts, graphs, tables or geographically and be downloaded.

Indicators from the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) on adult binge drinking (2021–2022), adult asthma (2001–2022), adult diagnosed diabetes (2003–2022), adult psychological distress (2015–2022), and high blood pressure (2001–2022) are used in the atlas. The atlas also uses data from the U.S Census Bureau’s American Community Survey and the California Department of Public Health.
