Health in All Policies Task Force: Report to the Strategic Growth Council

Local produce is good for our health — and California's agricultural industry. Biking to work is a great workout — and it reduces the state's greenhouse gas levels. Healthy citizens make for a productive workforce — and reduced health care costs. In this report to the California Strategic Growth Council, the members of a Health in All Policies Task Force argue that health is a critical component of economic, environmental and many other policies. The task force made extensive use of Center research in its findings.
