2011 Calaveras County Community Assessment

Summary

Published Date: November 01, 2011

The 2011 Community Assessment Project (CAP) presents data on over 50 indicators about the health and general well-being of Calaveras County residents. The focus of the assessment is on health and the major factors that impact health such as the economy, public safety and the natural environment. Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital hired ASR to conduct their Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The goal of the assessment is to continually improve the quality of health and health care for county residents by providing accurate and reliable information to community members and health care providers; raising awareness of health needs, changing trends, emerging issues, and community challenges; and providing research-based data for the hospital and the community to continue strategic planning efforts.
