​Covered California, the state's health insurance exchange, expects to enroll between 487,000 and 696,000 Californians eligible for premium assistance by April 2014, according to this fact sheet that features Center data. 

The fact sheet reports enrollment forecasts based on the California Simulation of Insurance Markets (CalSIM), a statistical model that can be used to estimate the impact of various elements of the ACA and that is jointly produced by the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research and the UC Berkeley Center for Labor Research and Education.
