The findings in this study are derived from data collected from the Patient Experience Evaluation Report System (PEERS), a patient survey administered at a subset of health centers nationally in both 1993 and 2001. PEERS is a quality of care measurement system used by community health centers in order to measure quality, satisfaction, patient demographics, and other variables in order to assess patient health care quality and effectiveness.
