This report provides updated information about aging in Los Angeles County to inform stakeholders and stimulate discussions about how to establish new directions in thinking and acting to improve quality of life among older adults.
The report uses California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) from 2003, 2007 and 2011-2012 on chronic conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension, and serious psychological distress.
