​The report offers information for educators, enrollers, advocates, and policy planners working to raise health literacy on the myriad of options for health care coverage within immigrant communities. Authors provide in the report, which uses 2014 California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) estimates on citizenship and immigration, information that addresses the complexity of immigration statuses, along with user-friendly recommendations per option so that enrollers/advocates can expeditiously assist a community member.
