This chartbook highlights data on topics associated with the oral health of Los Angeles County’s residents, including but not limited to

• tooth decay in children and tooth loss in adults
• oral and pharyngeal (throat) cancer
• use of dental care delivery system
• access to preventive services
• dental workforce

Each topic area includes graphs with current data and, when available, data on disparities and trends.

This study refers to 2019 California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) data.
